What hydro jetting does
A jetter pushes water at high pressure through a specialized nozzle. Forward jets cut through the blockage while rear jets scrub the pipe walls and pull debris down the line. The result is a pipe that's clean along its whole diameter instead of having a small hole punched through the clog.
When jetting is the right call
- Kitchen lines packed with grease
- Main sewer lines with root intrusion
- Cast iron pipe with heavy scale
- Drains that clog again shortly after being snaked
- Cleaning a line before a camera inspection or a repair
Camera first, then jet
We inspect the line with a camera before jetting. If a pipe is cracked, separated or collapsed, jetting isn't the answer, and we'll show you what we saw and recommend a sewer line repair instead. After jetting, a second look confirms the line is clean.
